Job Purpose
The MSR is responsible for understanding, performing, and troubleshooting a broad variety of member services including transactions, filing disputes, educating members on e-services, and assisting with any questions or concerns related to their account. Must maintain full knowledge of the Credit Union’s products and services. Requires strong customer service and sales skills, preferred personal finance knowledge, multitasking ability, confidentiality, and effective communication.
Key Accountabilities
Products, Services, and Systems :
- Working knowledge of all HFCU deposit and consumer loan products and services in order to refer or direct members appropriately.
- Working knowledge of operational systems to perform member requests including deposits, withdrawals, corporate or cashier checks, disputes, ATM or Visa card issuance, processing mail, return fees, and other duties as assigned.
Policies, Procedures, and Compliance :
Effective and confident working knowledge of all HFCU policies and procedures based on industry regulations and an understanding of how they apply to daily operations.Emerging Areas : Educate members on new technologies provided by HFCU.Sales and Service
Interact with members professionally and confidentially while evaluating their needs. Identify opportunities to educate or refer products and services. Maintain strong working knowledge of customer service to meet expectations and metrics. Confidently move beyond the member’s initial request to offer additional education or opportunities. Member interaction may be inbound or outbound.Work within a team to accomplish overall goals, products, and services regardless of individual focus area.Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Minimum Educational Qualifications
