Johnson County has implemented a skill-based pay plan of up to $4200 annually for staff who have obtained licensure by the BSRB at the Clinical Level.
Johnson County Mental Health is looking for a clinician to join in partnership with the Olathe Police Department's ACT (Advanced Crisis-Intervention Team) and new OPTIONS (Olathe Partnership for Inter-Organizational Navigation and Support) program. This position will work alongside this multidisciplinary team to help solve the complex contributing factors leading to high utilization of emergency services. They will help these high utilizers navigate the behavioral health, social, and justice systems, eliminate barriers, and enhance the effectiveness of partner agencies. This position will be based in Olathe Police Department. The work schedule is Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., however there is a need for flexibility to work some evenings to meet the needs to the people we're serving.

Job Requirements
Minimum Job Requirements :
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or other Human Services field and Kansas Behavioral Sciences licensure
Preferred Job Requirements :
Kansas Behavioral Sciences license at the clinical level and one year of experience in the area of focus is preferred.
Physical, Environmental, and Special Working Conditions :
All County employees may be called upon to assist other departments in a declared emergency situation.
