Job descriptionHigh school diploma or equivalent is preferred Previous laundry experience preferred, none required Ability to lift / carry up to 25 lbs. Laundry Attendant
The Laundry Attendant performs a variety of laundry duties to provide clean and sanitary linens for our guests, including but not limited to washing, drying, pressing, sorting and inspecting items for wear and stains.
Reports to : Team Leader, Housekeeping and Laundry

Responsibilities
- Sorts, washes, dries and folds laundry
- Presses linens and chef coats
- Removes stains where possible and contacts management when an item is too damaged to continue using
- Operates washers, dryers, and pressers in accordance with safety standards
- Reads and understands directions for operating machines and recognizes when a machine is not functioning properly
- Cleans laundry according to set standards and within set time limits
- Maintains laundry room and equipment in a clean and orderly manner
- Performs other duties as assigned
