Job description

Security Officer

Seeking part-time security officer to provide all routine patrol and access control functions including property control at the Aerospace Arlington, VA location. Shift : Sunday and Monday 2300-0730 (11PM-7 : 30AM) REQUIRES TS / SCI

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Report to the Lieutenant or Sergeant
  • Patrol Buyer's facilities and report all security or safety deficiencies
  • Conduct timed patrol tours and special signoffs as directed
  • Respond to the scene of crimes and emergencies to assist, observe, report, and contain
  • Enforce Buyer's access and property control policies at all gates and lobbies

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be U.S. citizen
  • Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
  • Must have a current TS Clearance or Higher
  • Successfully pass criminal, credit and driving records check
  • Successfully pass an employment physical
  • Ability to prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms
  • Write and speak clearly and effectively in English
  • Be fully computer literate with computer hardware
  • Communicate effectively
  • Must be able to pass training and obtain the required certifications and licenses
  • 6 months or more of related security experience

    • WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Subject to frequent interruptions
  • May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting for prolonged periods throughout the workday
