Company Description
Julian's House is named after our son Julian. Born with a Grade IV brain bleed that led to intellectual disability, autism, ADHD, and a seizure disorder, Julian's life journey was filled with bumps in the road from Day One. While being very active in Special Olympics and sports such as softball, swimming, and basketball, as well as graduating from Cy-Falls High School's Life Skills program, Julian was still dependent upon us for his daily needs. We decided that rather than allowing Julian's disability to become a stumbling block for him or for our family, we would use it as a stepping stone to help him and others in similar situations.
We sought to create an adult day care center in Cypress, TX, that was as home-like as possible. Julian's smile is our guiding light as we open our doors to young adults and adults who are intellectually and developmentally disabled. In this house, our guests are family and are treated with dignity and respect they deserve and are taught basic life skills. From cooking instruction to arts & crafts to field trips and more, horizons are expanded and disabilities are overcome with love.
