Lead Appliance Repair Technician

Position Summary :

The Lead Appliance Repair Technician plays a critical role in delivering outstanding customer service while supporting and mentoring a team of Appliance Repair Technicians. This position is ideal for a skilled technician who enjoys teaching others, solving problems efficiently, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role requires diagnosing and repairing home appliances, serving as a technical resource, and promoting a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities :

Diagnose and repair home appliances, provide cost estimates, communicate with customers, and collect payments.

Lead and mentor a team of Appliance Repair Technicians to ensure accurate diagnostics and quality repairs.

Act as a technical resource and provide ongoing support to technicians.

Maintain effective communication with office staff.

Qualifications :

4+ years of experience in a technical, electrical, or service industry.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Prior appliance repair experience (4+ years) preferred.

Education Requirements :

High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Skills :

Strong customer service skills with empathy and professionalism.

Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

Ability to complete repairs efficiently and accurately.

Punctual, reliable, and detail-oriented.

Willingness to continually learn and adapt to new technologies.

Enjoys teaching and sharing knowledge with others.

Location & Compensation :

Location : Fairfax, VA.

Compensation : Initial hourly rate starting at $26 / hr during training, transitioning to a commission plan (23–24% of revenue) with potential earnings of $2,000+ per week.
