Intuition Speech Therapy, Inc. is seeking a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), serving clients 3-18 years old. Intuition Speech Therapy, Inc. is a fast-growing company with a new therapy center that opened September 2022. We are looking for a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) who is motivated to join us with the enthusiasm and excitement of bringing Speech Therapy services to Lake Elsinore. This position is currently 30+ hours per week, which is considered full time.

Our Belief is that each client will receive Speech Therapy expertly designed to meet their individual needs by combining evidence-based treatment and play-based therapy. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping individuals overcome communication challenges and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities :

• Provide therapy to patients with various speech and language disorders including but not limited to :
• Speech Sound / Phonological Disorders
• Childhood Apraxia of Speech
• Mild-Moderate Autism
• Developmental Language Delays
• Fluency Disorders
• Keep detailed records of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Assist with documentation of patient therapy services as directed by supervising SLP.
• Follow documented treatment plans or protocols developed by the supervising SLP.
• Assist with providing education to families regarding in-home exercises and carry over programs.
• Full pay for No Shows, Late Cancellations and paid Documentation time

Skills :

Experience in working with pediatric patients is preferred.

Ability to use your intuition to make changes and adjustments to ensure positive results with your clients.

Pay rates are determined on years of experience

Requirements :

Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Communication Disorders or related field

CA SLPA License (Required)

Cleared Livescan / fingerprinting

Recent TB test

CPR healthcare provider card
