Radiology Technician Job Details Employment Type : Travel Radiology Technician Location : Traverse City, MI 49684 (Michigan healthcare jobs) Duration : 8 weeks, with option for 13-week contract extensions Setting : R1 Radiology Unit Shifts : Wednesday - Thursday 11am - 11pm; Every other weekend 10am - 10pm (Week 1 : 3 x 12-hour weekday shifts; Week 2 : 2 x 12-hour weekday shifts 1 x 12-hour weekend shift) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1800-$1840 On-call : As scheduled Holidays : As scheduled Scrubs : Caribbean Blue EMR System : Cerner Radiology Technician Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technician or X-Ray Tech High School Diploma or GED required ARRT Registry required (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) BLS certification preferred Experience with O-arm technology required Ability to work in ER, OR, inpatient, outpatient, and provide portable radiology support Radiology Technician Responsibilities Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including MRI, CT, Dexa, Vascular, and general radiology exams Support emergency, surgical, inpatient, outpatient, and portable radiology needs Operate O-arm imaging equipment with proficiency Maintain accurate patient records using Cerner EMR system Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment Apply now to join our Traverse City healthcare team as a travel Radiology Technician and take the next step in your medical imaging career!
