Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) Preceptor - Home Health

BAYADA Home Health Care is offering a unique opportunity for a Registered Nurse RN with with a passion for clinical education! In this role as a Full-Time Registered Nurse Preceptor you will train coach and mentor newly hired RNS and LPNs. This exciting new role will work one-on-one with our nurses to ensure our clinicians are delivering exceptional care to adult and geriatric patients living in their homes in Waltham Newton Boston Braintree Canton Foxboroughand surrounding towns . In this role you will also maintain a small caseload of patients. Previous Home Health Care experience is required.

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities :

• Precept newly hired RNs and LPNs
• Provide one-on-one clinical training to all field RNs and LPNs during home visits
• Collaborate with the RN Clinical Manager and Clinical Educator to ensure ongoing staff competencies
• Perform assigned duties of the RN Case Manager including administration of medication wound care treatments and procedures
• Monitor clients conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager
• Follow up with execute and properly document doctors orders
• Perform client assessments as necessary
• Case management and coordination
• Accurately document observations interventions and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided utilizing a touch pad tablet
