Director of Information Technology Systems

Westmark Enterprises / Kendall Hunt Publishing is seeking a highly motivated Director of Information Technology Systems to join our team in Dubuque, Iowa. In this leadership role, you will oversee and manage the strategic direction and implementation of our information technology systems. You'll play a key role in ensuring our technology infrastructure supports our business goals and drives innovation. Salary commensurate with experience.

What Will You Do?

• Supporting the core infrastructure on premise including network, servers, out of the box software applications including security related to all of these areas. Our on-premise data center includes 80% virtualized, 20% physical.
• Supporting the custom infrastructure in the cloud including Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services including network, virtual servers, and security
• Overall responsibility for maintaining all corporate technology systems, programs, software and hardware
• Assists CIO with recommendations and implementation of appropriate technology and programs based on overall corporate and divisional needs
• Manages technology vendors
• Assist with preparation of Information Technology budget and monitors expenditures
• May be times when position requires you to work nights or weekends
