Job Title : Wire Harness Assembly Technician

Job Description

Are you experienced in wire harness building within the Military, Aerospace, Aviation, or heavy industrial industries? Join an exciting, innovative start-up company that is quickly evolving. Be part of a team serving a purposeful mission with a breakthrough product. The Wire Harness Assembly Technician will support all wire harness and cable assembly for the Assembly / Production department. This role involves building large industrial wire harnesses from start to finish, requiring the ability to read and interpret drawings and create harnesses without a completed schematic.

Responsibilities

• Support all wire harness and cable assembly for the Assembly / Production department.
• Build large industrial wire harnesses from scratch, similar to those in Aviation or Aerospace assemblies.
• Utilize D399 connectors, with a preference for experience in Aviation / Aerospace / Military harness assemblies.
• Interpret electrical drawings to create harnesses without a formal schematic.
• Collaborate with a manufacturing team of 15-20.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled assembly shop and corporate headquarters offices. Openings are available on the 2nd shift from 3pm-11 : 30pm. The entire operation will relocate to a new site by next summer, which is only about 8 minutes away. The company offers a very friendly, driven, collaborative culture.

This is a Contract position based out of Kyle, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00 / hr.
