Glazier
Glazier responsibilities include the efficient and quality installation of commercial grade framing and glass related products such as mirrors, casement windows, operable windows, shower doors, storefront systems/doors, curtain wall systems, etc. The position does require heavy lifting, ladder work, boom lift work, and at times you will be working outdoors. This position will be supporting the La Jolla Country Day School Project starting in early March. The contractor will be working on a three story building on campus. Additional responsibilities include:
- Window installation
- Framing
- Fabrication
- Caulking
- Exterior storefront systems
- Curtain wall
- Measuring/cutting
- Reading blueprints

Additional skills and qualifications: Qualifications include the ability to read a tape measure and use hand/power tools. Must have commercial experience in glazing. Must be able to operate hand/power tools. Must be able to lift 75+ pounds. Must be able to commute (valid driver's license). PPE: chin strap helmet, boots, gloves, pants, vests, and glasses.
Experience level: Intermediate level.
Job type and location: This is a contract to hire position based out of San Diego, CA.
Pay and benefits: The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
