Location : Monico (Rhinelander), Wisconsin
TRACK Inc. is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for our Monico facility.
This is a pivotal role focused on gaining market share by increasing sales of new and used vehicles and increasing the volume of vehicle servicing and parts sales.
The Opportunity
The Operations Manager will oversee all activities of the TRACK Inc Monico location. The selected candidate will be responsible for setting the operational direction, providing guidance to all departments, and fostering a collaborative, results-oriented culture. Success in this role requires strong leadership skills, and the ability to coach team members and profitably increase sales of all products and services.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Oversight & Team Guidance
- Strategic plan : Develop a 5-year strategic plan within 6 months to profitably increase sales for all segments (vehicles, spare parts and service) with annual targets
- Talent Management : Oversee all staffing needs for the Monico facility, ensuring we recruit, hire, and onboard talent that aligns with TRACK Inc.'s values.
- Team Support : Develop and hire skilled teammates that will assist in growing the business.
- Culture & Performance : Drive a positive, accountable, and customer-focused workplace culture, ensuring all the team is aligned with service standards and operational excellence.
Sales, Service, and Parts Direction
Goal Setting : Collaborate with the corporate sales team to establish clear, measurable sales goals and service metrics for all product lines and departments.Process Improvement : Guide all departments in optimizing workflow and daily operations to maximize efficiency and service quality across vehicle sales, vehicle servicing, and parts / accessories sales.Service Excellence : Monitor and guide the service team (manager and technicians) to set and achieve measurable goals focused on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction (e.g., maximizing billable time efficiency and quality control).Inventory & Parts Optimization : Provide guidance to increase parts and accessories sales and streamline inventory processes to ensure efficient turnover and stock availability.Administrative & Operational Oversight
Ensure accurate and timely monthly operational reports are completed by the administration team.Work alongside the corporate office (Vermont) to provide local insight and assistance in developing annual operating budgets and facility strategic planning.Review facility performance monthly, guiding each department in taking necessary corrective actions to ensure operational targets are consistently met.Ensure proper workplace security, maintenance and upkeep.Ideal Candidate Qualifications
Experience : Minimum of 5–7 years in the heavy equipment or powersports industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing multiple departments.Leadership & Coaching : Demonstrated success in developing and leading multi-departmental teams (Sales, Service, Parts, Admin) to achieve high performance and morale.Education : A degree in Business Administration, or Technical Diploma, Organizational Leadership, or a related field is preferred.Technical Acumen : Basic understanding of mechanical systems in heavy equipment or off-road vehicles is required to effectively guide sales and service discussions within the industry.Recreational Passion : A passion for snowmobiling or off-road recreational vehicles is highly valued, helping better understand and leading our teams in serving our customer base.Technical : Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Quick Books experience with dealership management software is a plus.Compensation and Benefits
