Position : Application Developer (Mid-Level)
We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level Application Developer to design and develop database-driven IT applications supporting federal government contracts. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain database-driven IT applications using programming languages such as C++, Java / J2EE, Visual Basic, .NET, HTML / XML, PowerBuilder, or Delphi.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement secure coding practices to ensure compliance with federal standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA).
- Perform system testing, debugging, and optimization to ensure application reliability and performance.
- Integrate applications with existing databases and systems, ensuring seamless functionality.
- Document code, technical designs, and system configurations for audits and future maintenance.
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, code reviews, and status reporting.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or a related field.Minimum of five (5) years of experience in IT roles, with expertise in :Designing and developing database-driven IT applications.Proficiency in one or more programming languages (C++, Java / J2EE, Visual Basic, .NET, HTML / XML, PowerBuilder, or Delphi).Active Secret clearance (IT-II level) required and must be maintained throughout employment.Cybersecurity Workforce Framework (CWF) certification required : IAT II (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security, or equivalent).Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in database integration (e.g., SQL, Oracle).Excellent organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a secure, high-stakes environment.Compensation & Benefits
