Operations and Executive Assistant

Vitro Architectural Glass, the leading manufacturer of architectural and automotive glass in North America, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations & Executive Assistant to support daily plant operations and provide executive-level administrative support at our Wichita Falls facility.

Our Wichita Falls plant specializes in the production of flat glass using the float process, serving critical markets including automotive, trade, and mirror applications. In this role, you will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the HR Manager, Plant Manager, and other members of the leadership team ensuring efficiency and professionalism in all interactions. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations by coordinating events, handling travel arrangements, assisting with purchasing and expense process, and preparing for visitors. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

* Manage office and administration supplies, vendor interactions, and general resource needs for the facility

* Assist with HR- related tasks as assigned

* Support daily plant operations by preparing reports, tracking action items, and assisting with workflow coordination across departments

* Provide high-level administrative support to plant leadership, to include booking travel arrangements, submitting expense reports, and preparing for meetings.

* Responsible for some event planning and preparation

* Assisting with entering purchase requisitions into Ariba

* Distribute incoming mail

* Order food for meetings and help with set-up

Qualifications:

* Proven experience in administrative or executive assistant roles

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

* Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail

* Experience in HR support functions preferred
