Highly skilled Scientists with expertise in material science, polymer fabrication, and tissue engineering to drive innovation in medical devices and regenerative medicine are encouraged to apply. Additionally, candidates with a background in leading R&D efforts in developing biomaterials, bioengineered scaffolds, and implantable medical devices while ensuring biocompatibility, efficacy, scalability, and regulatory compliance would be well-suited for this role. A strong background in biofabrication techniques and translational tissue engineering would be highly valuable.

This person will be required to continuously sit, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs.They willcontinuouslywork in a sterile or isolation area.Additionally, this person will be required to pass a pre- employment health screening.

How you will contribute to LifeNet Healths success :

The Lead Scientist participates in corporate level strategic and resource planning. Develops and manages research and product development projects and interface with internal business stakeholders. Implements strategies, develop methodology, and work collaboratively with cross functional teams to optimize study designs and study protocol. Provides scientific assistance for divisional laboratory efforts. Contributes in the development of intellectual property in support of the divisional project portfolio.

What youll do :

• Technology Development : Develops techniques and technologies needed to develop clinical or research products and investigates the feasibility of the potential inventions and products. Makes major contributions in assessing external technology for in-house application, potential licensing, or partner opportunities. Makes major contribution in the development of intellectual property in support of the divisional project portfolio.
• Strategy : Implements strategies, develop methodology, and work collaboratively with cross functional teams to optimize study designs and study protocol. Makes major contributions to corporate level strategic and resource planning as well as project prioritization.
• Leadership : Provides oversight to assigned team by supervising, guiding and directing employees to be effective team members. Ensures that everyone is equipped with the right skills, tools, and talents necessary for executing their duties. Using the established people processes (performance, development, succession, and career) to ensure that their teams level of performance and capabilities meet current and future standards. Leads multifunctional teams to plan and execute projects according to goals, budgets, and timelines to achieve corporate objectives.
• Support : Provides scientific support for technical and non-technical staff, including guidance and project review.
• Reporting and Communicating : Represents the department in various departmental and interdepartmental committees that address scientific and administrative initiatives. Reviews, writes, submits, and presents results of research initiatives both internally and externally.

Salary : $132,659- $176,879 annually

The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location and the candidates qualifications and prior relevant experience. The pay range for this position is $132,659 annually (entry-level qualifications) to $176,879 annually (experienced in this role).

This position is eligible for an annual bonus once eligibility criteria are met.
