Job descriptionSafely operate a variety of trucks, including vans and box trucks. Load and unload goods and materials from the truck. Ensure all necessary paperwork, such as delivery packing list and receipts, is completed accurately in a timely manner. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise. Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including organizing and storing goods. Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment according to standard operating procedures. Receive incoming shipments and assist with unloading, sorting, and stocking inventory. Perform basic inventory counts and report discrepancies to supervisors. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including shelves, bins, and packing stations. Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) safely and responsibly. Follow all safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a secure working environment. Assist with labeling, scanning, and documentation of products and shipments. Collaborate with team members to meet daily fulfillment goals and deadlines. Ability to perform any other related job tasks that may be assigned by the Director of Sales. Other Accountabilities as Assigned Knowledgeable in operating box, small and pick-up trucks Professional and courteous customer service skills Navigation and route planning Ability to follow strict safety regulations. Excellent communication skills Able to work overtime on short notice. Able to speak, read and write in English highly preferred. High school diploma or equivalent level of education highly preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license. Excellent driving record While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand walk : The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.

POSITION TITLE :
The RP Fedder Driver is responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations within the Rochester, Syracuse and Buffalo Metropolitan Areas.
