Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Optometrist located in Elizabeth, NJ. The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing eye diseases and other eye conditions, prescribing eyeglasses and contact lenses, and providing pre- and post-operative care to patients. The Optometrist will also educate patients on proper eye care and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive eye examination, diagnosis, and treatment skills
• Proficiency in prescribing eyeglasses and contact lenses
• Experience in providing pre- and post-operative eye care
• Ability to educate patients on proper eye care practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited optometry school
• State licensure to practice optometry in New Jersey
• Commitment to upholding high standards of patient care and professionalism
