Job descriptionCareers Advancement Opportunities Flexible Scheduling (Monday - Thursday 9 AM - 5 PM) Competitive Compensation Paid Holidays Paid Time Off Medical Benefits, with contribution by Doctor; includes Vision SIMPLE IRA Match Private General Dental Practice; not a part of Corporate Dentistry Voluntary benefits (long term disability, cancer insurance, etc) After 90 day evaluation, opportunity for bonus / salary increase Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have Take vital signs and accurately record medical history Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures Assist dentist during procedures and exams Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies Schedule appointments Associates Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation Current Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certificate or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure by the Dental Assisting National Board's (DANB) Previous experience as a dental assistant Strong computer and data entry skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to provide high-quality patient care
