Job description

HR Coordinator

Kimball Medical Solutions is a Medical Device Contract Manufacturer in Indianapolis, IN and we are looking for a dynamic, upbeat and emotionally intelligent HR Coordinator to provide assistance and administrative support for all Human Resources processes and systems. In this role, you will be the heartbeat of our HR team, ensuring the smooth operation of all HR processes and systems throughout the entire employee life cycle. You'll also be the go-to person for our managers, Program Management, and other plant support services departments, providing invaluable assistance whenever needed.

Basic Background Requirements :

  • Managing and maintaining specific and day-to-day HR operations and payroll activities (Workday, IQMS).
  • Helps recruiting life cycle along with phone screening and onboarding activities.
  • Provides administrative support to HR department and staff in supporting their special projects, meeting needs and ordering lunches, etc.
  • Maintains files in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Summarize data to generate and publish periodic reports and presentations.
  • Participates in the planning and execution of employee activities.
  • Helps to maintain employee development and training logistics and recordkeeping.
  • Willingness to assist employees with various issues (Security Badges, general questions, etc.).
  • Continually develop skills that would enhance job performance.
  • Administer employee recognition programs. (Retirements, Anniversaries, Birthdays, etc.)
  • Supports the Vision and Guiding Principles and other policies.

Key Performance Objectives :

Short Term : (0 to 3 months)

  • Learn the regulated processes of a CMO
  • Conduct phone screens
  • Keep up with and complete records filings
  • Build relationships with all internal customers
  • Learn and adopt Kimball Electronics philosophies and culture
  • Midterm : (3 to 6 months)

  • Complete onboarding activities
  • Help employees walk thru the Workday entries
  • Complete tours of the facility
  • Coordinate employee activities
  • Long term : (6 to 12 months)

  • Complete file and records audits
  • Provide improvement ideas for review
  • Help maintain the culture of Kimball and what makes up special
