Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are seeking an experienced hospital pharmacist to join a major hospital in Montgomery, AL for an evening shift travel assignment. This is a great opportunity to step into a flagship facility within a respected health system and provide vital support in a high-acuity setting.

Hospital Overview :

492-bed flagship hospital

Level II Trauma Center

Level III NICU

Primary Stroke Center

Position Details :

Schedule : 7-on / 7-off, evenings

Shift : 4 : 00 PM 3 : 00 AM

Duties :

Operations pharmacist role; primary pharmacist for the hospital during shift

Remote order coverage of a nearby sister hospital (Baptist Prattville) overnight

Work closely with pharmacy technicians, nurses, and providers

Triaging, order verification, and operational oversight

No emergency or ER response required

Requirements :

Active Alabama pharmacist license (or in process with ability to secure prior to start)

2+ years of hospital pharmacist experience required

Strong independent pharmacist with excellent munication skills and ability to triage effectively

NICU experience preferred

Technology & Support :

Cerner EMR

Omnicell

Sentri 7 (pharmacy surveillance software)

IVX (visual checking for sterile pounding)

Supported by pharmacy technicians, providers, and other pharmacists until 3 : 00 AM
