Job description

The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine is seeking highly talented anesthesiologists to provide anesthesia care at UPMC Shadyside hospital. A qualified anesthesiologist will be ABA board-eligible or certified and qualify for an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license.

General position; opportunities in acute pain as well as cardiac and anesthesiology are available for candidates with fellowship training or substantial experience in these subspecialties.
Schedule : daylight coverage M-F / 6 : 30a- 3 : 30p / 6 : 30a - 5 : 30p / 6 : 30a - 7 : 30p
Call : All days - beeper call and in-house OB call, 7 : 00 p - 7 : 00a
CRNA supervision, 2.75 : 1 concurrency target
Hospital has 20 anesthesiologists and 44 CRNAs
