A facility in Durango, CO is seeking Urology locum coverage for ongoing needs, offering competitive rates for both daytime and night call shifts. The role involves working in various settings including inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room, with responsibilities such as seeing patients in the clinic and performing procedures. Candidates must be board certified in Urology, hold an active Colorado license, and be available for scheduled coverage dates throughout 2024.

Facility in Durango, CO seeking Urology locums coverage Rates : $350 / hr, On call 24 hours $3000 includes 4 hour gratis, Orientation $200 / hr, Night call $700 includes 2.5 gratis and call back $375 / hr Coverage Dates :

Sept 16 (8a) 23 (7a)
Oct 14 (8a) 21 (7a)
Nov 4 (8a) 11 (7a)
Dec 16 (8a) 23 (7a)

Schedule :

Monday-Friday : 8 am - 4 pm (daytime) + 4 pm - 7 am (night call)

Saturday-Sunday : 24-hour call (7 am - 7 am)

Ongoing Need : 1 week per month

Job Details :

Setting : Inpatient, Outpatient, Emergency Room, Clinic, Call (Trauma Level III)

FTE : 0.5

Patient Load : 6-12 patients per day during the clinic

Required Procedures / Job Duties : Seeing patients in clinic, OR time for various procedures

Support Staff : MA, NP / PA, RN

EMR : EPIC

Reason for Coverage : Backfill for a previously canceled provider

Credentialing :

Timeframe : 60-90 days

Emergency Temp Privileges : Yes, less than 30 days with a clean file

Credentialing with Other Facilities : No

EMR Training : Must complete required modules before virtual and onsite training

Billing Enrollment : Not in lieu of an existing enrolled provider for more than 60 days

Requirements :

Board Certified in Urology : Required (will not accept BE candidates)

Active Colorado License or IMLC (LOQ in hand at submission) : Required

Active BLS, DEA : Required (must maintain DEA for the duration of the assignment)

Availability : Must be available for all or most (80%) of the specified 2024 dates

Malpractice : Site willing to accept one case up to $300k; must provide malpractice explanation for September shifts

Clean Background : Required
