Senior Product Development Manager
The Senior Product Development Manager will play an important role within the US Wealth product development team. The product development team serves as a champion of new product ideas and product actions, facilitates analysis from concept to implementation, ensuring alignment with market demand, regulatory trends, and strategic business objectives. While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 3 days a week in our office location. In this role, you will lead a variety of strategic and tactical product initiatives, develop proposals and gather evidence to clearly articulate the benefits, risks, and opportunities associated with new or existing products. You will coordinate implementation efforts by engaging key areas of the firm. Additionally, you will create routine and non-routine presentations for the Board and Senior Management and provide product leadership in complex-wide business activities or projects.
What you offer 5+ years' experience in product management or product development within the financial services industry and ideally experience within an asset manager. Ideal candidates will have experience working with mutual funds, ETFs, and SMAs / WRAP models as well as experience in interval funds, closed-end funds and BDCs being an advantage. Strong knowledge of standard industry programs and proven ability to learn and apply new technologies or digital platforms, with strong research and problem-solving abilities for potentially complex matters. Strong written / oral communication skills and able to interact and influence all levels of personnel. Ability to work independently and collaborate globally with a strong attention to detail.
