• Work 3x12 day shifts from 6 : 45 AM to 7 : 15 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No call requirements
• Must have 2 years Med Surg / Telemetry experience
• Nevada RN license required prior to start
• Required certifications : BLS, ACLS
• Must pass telemetry competency exam including identifying and measuring rhythm strips
• Work on 29-bed unit with staffing ratios between 1 : 4-6
• Care for telemetry and medical status patients including COPD, sepsis, respiratory illnesses, ETOH withdrawal, DM, GI bleeding
• All telemetry patients monitored remotely by CCT
• May be required to float to other units based on competency level
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Eve Day shifts count as 1 holiday)
• Required to pick up one additional shift during each 4-week schedule period
• Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends and holidays
