HEAD & NECK ONCOLOGIC SURGEON

University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson

Position Highlights :

Division is part of the Research and Cancer Institute with a Cancer Center in development

  • Tertiary referral center and the only comprehensive team of ENT subspecialists in the state
  • Physician-lead institution ensuring patient care and physician perspectives remain central to the institutions mission
  • Desirable Practice :

    • Practice variety including resection, reconstruction, and endocrine surgery

  • Strong and comprehensive multidisciplinary relationships with related psychological specialties
  • Favorable Call Schedule :

    • Light general ENT call from home with resident coverage

    Compensation & Benefits :

  • Financial Package : $650K-725k potential with a 2-year guarantee and RVU-based bonus plan
  • Relocation Assistance : $25k supplement
  • Professional Development : $13K annual CME
  • Lucrative Retirement Benefits : 1 : 1 retirement contribution
  • Scholarship & Tuition Benefits : 50% to 100% tuition waiver for faculty and dependents

    • Qualifications :

  • Certifications : Must be BE / BC in Otolaryngology and Fellowship trained
  • Licensure : MS license eligibility
  • Required Experience : Must have experience with TORS and microvascular surgery
  • Experience : New grads and experienced surgeons are welcome to apply
