Position Summary
Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching training and actively listening to associates touring stores and providing feedback; communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations utilizing technology business initiatives merchandising and company direction; introduces and leading company change efforts; provides clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams effectively.
Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model; manages and supports customer service initiatives including community outreach programs; ensures customer needs complaints and issues are resolved; develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies and provides process improvement leadership for a high quality customer experience.
Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements; assists in budgeting forecasting and controlling expenses; ensures merchandise presentation seasonal transitions inventory flow and operational processes support sales and profit goals; develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrink.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring training and mentoring; assigns duties; sets clear expectations; provides associate recognition; fosters a sense of belonging in the workplace; recruits and develops qualified associates to meet staffing needs and growth potential.
Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by developing relationships with key stakeholders supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; communicates goals and objectives; builds accountability and measures progress; promotes continuous learning and adaptability.
Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission values and ethics by implementing action plans and applying the Open Door Policy in business processes and practices.

The hourly wage range for this position is $31.25-$38.46 plus differential where applicable. The actual rate will meet or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation may include bonuses and location-based pay.
Minimum Qualifications
2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check and Firearms Authorized Training may be required. For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state-specific requirements, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required. Associates must attend and successfully complete all required trainings and assessments.
