Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Investments Associate (210 years of relevant experience) to join our growing team. This role offers significant exposure to the full investment lifecycle from sourcing and underwriting through execution and portfolio management. The Associate will work directly with senior team members on acquisitions and development opportunities, gaining hands-on experience and contributing meaningfully to Shoreham's growth.
Key Responsibilities
Build detailed financial models, valuations, and sensitivity analyses for acquisitions and development projects
Support the due diligence processes, including comparable properties analysis, market research, legal documentation and all aspects of deal execution
Draft and deliver investment memoranda and presentations to investment committee, capital partners, and lenders
Monitor asset and portfolio performance, including budgets, construction progress, and operational performance indicators
Cultivate and maintain relationships with brokers, lenders, and operating partners
Conduct macro and micro market research, analyzing trends that impact real estate investment decisions
Qualifications
25 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, real estate investment, or a related field
Advanced proficiency in Excel with strong financial modeling and analytical skills. Knowledge of and experience with Argus, Costar and other relevant real estate platforms a plus.
Solid understanding of real estate valuation, capital markets, and investment principles
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and demonstrated
Outstanding work ethic and attitude a must
Bachelor's degree required (advanced degree or professional designation a plus)
