Job Summary :

Under the supervision of the Disability Services Director, the Clubhouse Program Manager is responsible for the daily operations, staff supervision, and delivery of high-quality psychosocial rehabilitation services at the Daybreak Clubhouse. This position ensures compliance with Department of Mental Health standards and promotes a positive, inclusive, and empowering environment for members and staff alike.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES :

Staff Supervision & Development

  • Directly supervises Clubhouse Generalist Staff : sets performance expectations, conducts evaluations, and provides coaching and support.
  • Manages the hiring, onboarding, training, and offboarding of employees in coordination with Human Resources.
  • Ensures staff orientation, ongoing professional development, and adherence to contract and program standards.
  • Fosters a collaborative, respectful, and mission-driven workplace culture.

Program Operations & Member Services

  • Oversee daily operations of the work-ordered day in collaboration with members and staff.
  • Provides psychosocial rehabilitation services including employment, housing, education, life skills, wellness, and community linkages.
  • Collaborate with members and staff to create and implement individualized action plans.
  • Ensures programming meets all Department of Mental Health Clubhouse standards.
  • Promotes social inclusion and member participation across all activities.
  • Administration & Compliance

  • Manage scheduling, payroll, data tracking, and administrative reporting.
  • Develops and monitors key performance indicators (KPls) for program success.
  • Assists the Director with budget monitoring and program utilization reviews.
  • Maintains required licenses, accreditation, and compliance documentation.
  • Community Engagement & Representation

  • Builds and maintains relationships with members, families, community partners, referral sources, and oversight agencies.
  • Represents the Clubhouse in off-island meetings and liaises with the Clubhouse Advisory Board.
  • Coordinates quarterly Open Houses to engage the broader community and showcase program offerings.
  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITES REQUIRED

  • Knowledge of employment and educational support services.
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable, independent transportation.
  • Ability to meet eligibility requirements for providing services under the Human Services Transportation (HST) contract, including successful completion of annual background checks.
  • Nights and weekend hours may be required.
  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Human Services) strongly preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience required, including staff management and performance evaluation.
  • Demonstrated experience in the human services field with a preference for mental health or psychosocial rehabilitation settings.
  • Strong knowledge of recovery-oriented psychosocial rehabilitation principles, including :
  • Strengths-based assessment
  • Person-centered treatment planning
  • Health and wellness promotion
  • Age-appropriate and culturally competent service delivery
  • Ability to engage and support individuals experiencing physical and / or emotional distress with empathy, patience, and professionalism.

    Salary / Compensation : $62,000 - $75,000 per year
