Job description This is a part-time position. Candidates with LVN or RN license with minimum one year long-term care experience will only be considered.

Texas Healthtech Institute is a college offering degree and certificate programs. The College is nationally accredited and the eligible students receive financial aid through the Department of Education. The College operates from two campuses - Houston and Beaumont, Texas.

Requirements

Current LVN or RN license in Texas.

One year of job experience in long term nursing facility.

Strong clinical skills and patient care experience.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Duties : Teach CNA courses including theory and clinical skills. Maintain class attendance and grades records. Consult with the CNA Program Director about any unusual academic or discipline related issues in the classroom. Review CNA curriculum, update and revise as needed. Maintain current CNA clinical sites to support CNA program. Maintain State compliance for the CNA program to include preparing for and attending CNA state audits.

Day-time, evening and weekend teaching schedules are available.
