Responsibilities Position is a true float role across multiple units including ED holds, Med Surg / Tele, Medical Oncology, Surgical, Cardiac, and PCU No floating to ICU; possible basic care floating to Endo Day shifts with a schedule of two 6 : 45-19 : 15 shifts and one 6 : 45-15 : 15 shift per week, totaling 32 hours per week Every other weekend and holiday shift required Uses Meditech Expanse EMR; prior experience highly preferred but not required 10-week contract assignment Responsible for providing patient care in a variety of acute care and step-down units based on hospital needs Not eligible for first-time travelers who have recent disciplinary action on their nursing license Annual and orientation learning modules required through the facility's Workday system Must complete a third party education verification for employment consideration Passing a pre-assignment EKG test is required Scrub requirements and additional onboarding details will be provided during orientation Requirements Active and current MA RN license required Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry nursing experience required Previous PCU experience preferred Must pass an orientation Telemetry exam (pass / fail with a single attempt) Completion of pre-start and orientation module training required Two professional references required, with one from a Nurse Manager or higher No history of disciplinary action on nursing license Must live at least 200 miles from the facility Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-640619.
