Food Production Operator

Location : North Chicago, IL

Starting Pay : $18.00 / hour

Responsibilities

• Operate mixers, scales, and batching systems to prepare accurate mixes.
• Pre-scale and add ingredients, verify formulas, and adjust batches for quality.
• Complete mix sheets, equipment checks, and production documentation.
• Perform GMP and safety inspections; ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Assist with cleaning tanks, safe chemical handling, and support other production areas.
• Report equipment issues and work with maintenance to resolve them.
• Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement efforts.
