American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Pueblo, Colorado.

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced PACU RN with a CO or compact license, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, and at least 2 years of PACU experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the PACU at an outpatient surgery center
  • Care for pre-op, Phase 1, and Phase 2 recovery patients including pediatric patients
  • Day shifts, Monday through Friday from 6 : 30 AM to 6 : 00 PM
  • No weekends and no call required
  • Charting is completed using Epic EMR
  • Floating is not required unless staffing needs change
  • First-time travelers will be considered if all experience requirements are met
  • Dark blue scrubs are required
  • A maximum of 10 days RTO is allowed per 13-week contract, with no RTO permitted during peak holiday periods
  • No blocked scheduling requests will be approved
  • Mandatory training modules must be completed on the first day
  • Candidates who have applied to UCHealth internal travel or permanent positions in the last two years will not be considered

    • Requirements

  • Active CO or compact RN license required
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA) certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of PACU experience required
  • Experience caring for pediatric patients in a PACU setting
  • Epic charting experience preferred
