The Madison Parish Detention Center in Tallulah, Louisiana, is seeking a Corrections Officer. This role is vital to the safe and secure operation of the Center, ensuring the custody, control, and care of inmates housed within the facility.
Responsibilities
- Supervise inmate activities
- Conduct routine cell inspections
- Enforce facility rules and regulations
- Escort inmates within and outside the jail
- Assist with booking and release procedures
- Monitor security systems
- Conduct headcounts
- Respond to emergencies
- Maintain detailed records of incidents and inmate behavior
