Georgia-Pacific Dixie Consumer Products Operation is seeking qualified professionals to consider for an Asset Leader role supporting the Consumer Products Group Operations located in Fort Smith Arkansas. Strengths in leadership, manufacturing and reliability will be key in the success of this role. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated capability to create proactive and responsive solutions to business needs and will play an intricate part in leading the converting area.

Our Team

The Fort Smith facility uses state of the art technology to manufacture Dixie plates and bowls in a progressive production environment. Dixie is a brand of choice and is widely used in homes and businesses across the country. This role will be critical in providing asset strategies and implementations for our reliability team.

What You Will Do

• Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive asset reliability strategies for production equipment
• Lead Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) initiatives using advanced condition monitoring technologies.
• Prioritize work based on business impact, risk, and value creation to optimize equipment availability and cost-efficiency.
• Apply economic and data-driven thinking to support investment decisions, equipment upgrades, and process improvements.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities targeting risk reduction, quality enhancement, waste elimination, and productivity gains.
• Lead cross-functional reliability teams and influence stakeholders across maintenance, planning, and operations.
• Facilitate root cause analysis (RCA), failure mode effects analysis (FMEA), and corrective action implementation for process and equipment issues.
• Support raw materials trials and evaluate performance and cost improvements.
• Lead management of change (MOC) activities related to equipment modifications, installations, and startups.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure work is delivered safely, on time, and meets operational requirements.
• Specify and oversee modifications to process equipment with reliability and maintainability in mind.
• Drive asset lifecycle management to extend equipment reliability and service life.
