Job descriptionProvide inpatient gastroenterology consults and procedures during on-call shifts Conduct outpatient clinic appointments in the afternoons, including routine follow-ups Perform endoscopy, colonoscopy, EGD, and double procedures Complete routine consults and procedures as required ERCP is preferred but not required Board certification in Gastroenterology required Must hold an active California medical license Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required Assignment uses a non-Aspen EMR system Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities
Job Description
We are seeking a board-certified Gastroenterologist for a 7-day locum tenens assignment in California beginning on Sep 26, 2025. This urgent opportunity involves a combination of Monday-Friday clinic hours (8am-5pm), 24-hour call coverage for weeknights and weekends, and inpatient consults and procedures. Flexible scheduling is available between Sep 26 and Oct 10, 2025.
