Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : 2+ years NICU experience

License : Iowa State License

Certifications : NRP, BLS (AHA)

Must-Have : Dependent and Child Abuse certifications (can be obtained during onboarding)

Description :

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, you will contribute professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients through the application of the nursing process.

You will be responsible for caring for patients with conditions such as prematurity, respiratory distress / failure, and hypoglycemia.

The unit supports a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1 : 2 or 1 : 3, depending on patient acuity.

You may be required to float to general pediatrics and PICU.

You will work every 3rd weekend, including holiday rotations if scheduled.

A same-day clinical interview will be conducted via phone call or text.

References are highly preferred and may be required during onboarding if accepted for the position.
