Responsibilities Work in the Emergency Department (ED) of an acute care hospital Night shifts (3 x 12 hours, 19 : 00-07 : 30) Every other weekend and holiday coverage required as scheduled May be required to float within the specialty and hospital based on need No on-call responsibilities First-time travelers are welcome to apply Float assignments are prioritized for travelers, with no restrictions permitted if within licensure and experience Holiday shifts will be assigned as needed throughout the contract Former staff must be away from the health system at least 12 months before returning as a traveler, and prior travelers must be gone at least 6 months Scheduling requests such as block scheduling or restrictions cannot be guaranteed Online CPI certification must be completed through the Calm Every Storm vendor Non-billable onboarding modules will be required Requirements Active MD or Compact RN license at time of consideration Minimum of 2 years recent Emergency Department experience required BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required TNCC certification preferred AHA required for BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications Must provide two professional references, including one from a supervisor / manager and one from a charge RN Permanent residence must be at least 50 miles from the facility Must be comfortable floating within the hospital in areas within skill set Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-640689.
