PostgreSQL Database Developer

A company is looking for a PostgreSQL Database Developer to support environmental research and conservation projects.

Key Responsibilities

Translate business requirements into technical solutions and actionable tasks

Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot PostgreSQL database objects and implement geospatial functionality using PostGIS

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and manage database code using Git

Required Qualifications

6+ years of experience in PostgreSQL PL / pgSQL and SQL development

Strong experience optimizing PostgreSQL queries and database performance

Hands-on experience with PostGIS for geospatial data handling

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field

Proficiency in Git for version control
