We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Analyst to join our AS9100-certified organization. This role will play a key part in administering and integrating quality management systems (QMS) to ensure compliance with AS9100 standards, customer requirements, and internal processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, organizational, and system administration skills, with preferred experience in calibration and supplier quality management.
Responsibilities
Administer and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) software platforms, ensuring configuration control, data integrity, and user access management.
Support integration efforts between quality systems and other enterprise tools (e.g., ERP, MES, PLM).
Monitor and report quality metrics and performance indicators; provide data-driven insights to improve process effectiveness.
Assist in internal and external audit preparation, execution, and follow-up to ensure compliance with AS9100 requirements.
Support supplier quality processes including supplier evaluation, performance monitoring, and corrective action tracking.
Coordinate and support the calibration management system, ensuring all equipment is properly calibrated and traceable to national or international standards.
Participate in root cause and corrective action activities, assisting cross-functional teams in developing robust solutions.
Present month in reporting out of quality management software systems in support of the SMS Division.
Maintain documentation, records, and quality databases to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant information management.
Collaborate with IT, Quality Engineering, and Manufacturing to continuously improve system performance and data integration.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Education Requirements
High School Diploma and 3 years of experience working with DOD, Quality, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
Experience in Quality Systems or Quality related functions, preferably within an AS9100 or aerospace / defense environment.
Proven experience with QMS software systems.
Working knowledge of calibration control and / or supplier quality management preferred.
Strong understanding of AS9100, ISO 9001, and related quality standards.
Experience with data analysis and reporting tools; proficiency with Excel, Power BI, or similar.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, technical environment.
Physical Description
Employees in these positions will work in an assembly, manufacturing, and production environment, as well as in equipment assembly areas using technical and electronic testing equipment, including specialized software. They will collaborate with various personnel in a manufacturing or testing setting, attend meetings, contribute to team efforts, deliver timely results, produce reports, and communicate information effectively. Telework may be included.
In specialized laboratory or testing environments, employees will use electronic testing equipment, complex systems, and computer software. The use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, hearing protection, protective footwear, and lab coats may be required. Employees may be responsible for lifting, moving, testing, and assembling equipment of various weights and utilizing a variety of electronic testing tools.
