Job Title : Quality Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and conformance. This role involves measuring and testing products, conducting visual, dimensional, and other specialized testing such as airflow, thermal, and vibration tests. You will work closely with engineering and other functional groups to perform quality checks and ensure that defective parts are identified and handled appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Measure and test products and record data on quality conformance.
• Conduct visual, dimensional, and other types of testing including airflow, thermal, and vibration.
• Train to test and calibrate measuring equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering and other functional groups while performing quality checks.
• Reject defective parts and mark defect type on part, container of parts, and inspection tag.
• Use Microsoft Office Suite daily to track quality findings and generate reports.
• Lift and move products weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

The work environment is a clean, bright, and well-lit shop. Employees will work shifts, including 1st shift from 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm, 2nd shift from 3 : 00 pm to 11 : 30 pm, and 3rd shift from 11 : 00 pm to 7 : 30 am. There is occasional voluntary overtime on Saturdays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Farmington, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00 / hr.
