A leading precision engineering company located in Southwest Ohio, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced EDM Machinist to join the team, and to take the next step in their career. The company is privately held and has been in business for 80 years. • Responsibilities will include :
• Set-up, program, and operate to produce precision parts, with complex geometries and tight tolerances, particularly in the fields of aerospace, energy and defense.
• Lead and mentor teammates in a fast paced, precision critical environment, overseeing daily operations and ensuring productivity goals are met.
• Ensure the flawless execution of components with tight tolerances and complex geometries.
• Maintain high standards of quality control, safety, and routine equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to meet project deadlines.
• Mentor junior teammates and promote continuous improvement.
• Champion a culture of zero-defect quality, traceability, and continuous improvement.
• Required Skills and Attributes will include :
• preferably aerospace-grade materials (Inconel, titanium, and other high temp alloys).
• 5+ years of hands-on Wire EDM experience preferably aerospace-grade materials
• Experience with 5-axis EDM machining (a major plus).
• Proven leadership or team lead experience in a precision machining or manufacturing environment.
• A solid knowledge of AS9100 standards and a strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading & interpretation, CAD Models and tight-tolerance EDM machining.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
