Distribution Center Supervisor - GDC
The primary purpose of the distribution center supervisor is to keep everything in our warehouses, and on our trucks, moving smoothly. They are in charge of getting products in and out of the warehouse and into our stores as efficiently as possible. They oversee multiple associates to make sure everything is safe and high quality. This role requires computer skills and 1+ years of experience as a supervisor (preferably at a place like ours). This is just a general overview of their job duties. You may be asked to assist in other ways too, depending on the needs of your distribution center. Candidate must be 18 years or older.

Duties :
Supervise the department responsible for meeting or exceeding key performance indicators (KPI)Maintain a safe and clean work environment, while completing the day-to-day operations to attain optimal customer service levelsMaintain a high awareness in keeping a safe work environment and safe work culture through daily communication with our associates and leads. Safety must be a consistent message through education, correction, encouragement, and recognitionMonitor and adjust associate staffing levels and schedules to meet customer volume demands and seasonal volume fluctuationsEnsure strict associate adherence to all engineered labor standardsEnsure compliance with safety and sanitation standards across all warehouse facilitiesSupervise administrative hourly associates and operations, leads, including planning and evaluating performancesEstablishing performance requirements and personal development targetsMonitoring performance and providing coaching for performance improvement and developmentCoaching and guiding associates to meet the required productivity goals within each department. This may be achieved through education, training, involvement, and progressive disciplineDrive productivity throughout the warehouse by maintaining a visible presence on the floor of the distribution centersReviewing labor management reports to identify performance issuesConducting audits per established schedule and identification of potential barriers to maximizing productivity, such as congestion, slotting issues, and safety and proactively work to resolve issuesWeekends are required.
