Tatte is seeking front of house team members who welcome and care for guests in our cafes. Counter team members will have a working knowledge of all Tatte products, delivering savory dishes and pastries, operating the point-of-sale register, and keeping a clean and organized workspace. Baristas will handcraft artistic coffee beverages. We expect our front of house team members to demonstrate hospitality and teamwork while upholding Tatte's values.

Responsibilities

  • Engaging, warm, and welcoming communication with guests
  • Knowledge of the coffee menu, bakery, and savory offerings; provide genuine hospitality
  • Help where needed and work as part of a team
  • Live from Tatte's core values and support its mission
  • Flexible to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, holidays, and afternoons / evenings
  • Barista experience is preferred (at least 1 year using manual espresso equipment in a fast-paced cafe) for barista roles
  • Provide high-quality service, take orders, deliver beverages and food, and maintain clean, stocked stations
  • Adhere to safety, sanitation standards, and internal policies
  • Other duties as assigned

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive pay (counters start at $11.50 / hr plus tips; baristas start at $13.00 / hr plus tips; typically $22-$24 / hr+ including tips)
