Credit And Treasury Analyst
The Credit And Treasury Analyst is responsible for evaluating customer creditworthiness and setting appropriate credit limits in accordance with policy. This role works closely with sales and division management to ensure timely payment collections while minimizing credit. Additionally, the role supports the daily operations of the Treasury Department, contributing to cash management, reporting, and compliance activities.
What You'll Be Doing :
- Analyze financial statements, credit bureau reports, trade references, and customer payment history to assess customer creditworthiness.
- Propose and establish appropriate credit limits based on analysis, in alignment with corporate credit policy and risk tolerance.
- Monitor existing accounts for changes in credit risk and adjust credit limits as necessary to mitigate exposure.
- Collaborate with sales teams and division management to balance credit risk with sales objectives and support account strategies.
- Maintain detailed records of credit evaluations and decisions to ensure compliance with policies and audit requirements.
- Track daily cash balances across multiple accounts and entities to help maintain adequate liquidity.
- Process wire transfers and ACH payments while ensuring transaction accuracy and appropriate approvals.
- Support banking operations by maintaining relationships, opening or closing accounts, and managing account signatories.
- Prepare and distribute ad hoc treasury reports.
- Ensure compliance with treasury policies and assist with audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
This is an onsite position located out of Charlotte, NC Office (Uptown Area).
