Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details : \n

  • Work 12-hour day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM Thursday through Saturday

    • \n

  • 13-week travel assignment starting ASAP

    • \n

  • CT certification and ARRT registration required

    • \n

  • BLS certification required

    • \n

  • Experience with Toshiba / Canon Aquilion CT equipment preferred but not required

    • \n

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited AMA school

    • \n

  • State licensure as a general radiographer required

    • \n

  • AHCA must be obtained for Florida placement

    • \n

  • Housing must be secured at time of acceptance

    • \n

  • Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures including CT of head / brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen / pelvis, extremities, and biopsy / drainage procedures

    • \n

  • Provide timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatient populations

    • \n

  • Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services

    • \n

  • Knowledge of CT system processing, surgical / sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross sectional anatomy required

    • \n

  • Work under the direction of a Radiologist and follow departmental protocols
