Job Title : Registered Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician

Job Description

The Pharmacy Fulfillment Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely fulfillment of prescriptions that are mailed out to patients. This position requires standing for an entire 8-hour shift, and the ability to lift up to 25lbs. The technician will be responsible for pulling, picking, and boxing medications with all necessary applications to maintain the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities

  • Fill, verify, and check prescriptions being mailed to patients.
  • Process, coordinate, and label products based on drug name and NDC, following manufacturer and state / federal requirements.
  • Maintain professionalism and document processes according to company policies and procedures.
  • Package products, patient paperwork, and additional materials efficiently according to manufacturer requirements.
  • Handle packaging of hazardous materials / products in compliance with USP 800 guidelines.
  • Prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines and comply with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Comfortably work in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Skills

  • Licensed Pharmacy Technician or Registered Pharmacy Technician (rpht).
  • Experience in pharmacy fulfillment and filling prescriptions.
  • Ability to stand for the duration of an 8-hour shift.
  • Attention to detail and high-volume experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
  • Ability to work with multiple screens efficiently.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Work Environment

    This is a full-time, onsite position at a closed-door, mail-order specialty pharmacy. The pharmacy operates Monday through Friday, with shift availability between 6am and 8pm. While current operations do not include weekends, there may be potential for weekend shifts in the future. The pharmacy specializes in high-cost and complicated specialty drugs, shipping directly to patients' homes. Training hours are from 8 : 30am to 5 : 00pm EST, with shifts after training determined based on business needs. Training will last for two weeks, during which no time off will be permitted.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00 / hr.
