Base pay range : $49,000.00 / yr - $59,000.00 / yr. Starting salary is $49,000 for pre-certified officers and $59,000 for certified applicants.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age and hold a valid Virginia driver's license.
• Vision requirement : minimum standard of 20 / 40 in each eye, correctable with lenses if necessary.
• Height and weight must be proportionate and applicant must have completed at least a high school education or have a GED.
• Possess or be eligible for Virginia law enforcement officer certification; preference given to those with current Virginia certification.
• Must undergo a comprehensive background check and consent to drug testing as part of the application process.
• Application deadline : October 15, 2025.
