DeBakey VA Medical Center - Houston, TX\nEmployer : Spectrum Healthcare Resources\nStatus : Full-Time | Potential Opening\n\nDeliver life-changing care to those who served our nation.\nSpectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a potential opportunity in the Spinal Cord Injury Unit at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, TX.\n\nThis role offers a meaningful, mission-focused environment with a collaborative care team and the unique privilege of serving our nation's veterans.\n\nRole Responsibilities : \n

• Provide advanced nursing care to veterans with spinal cord injuries and neurorehabilitation needs\n
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to manage individualized care plans\n
• Monitor patient progress, administer treatments, and educate patients and families\n
• Support clinical operations through detailed documentation and patient advocacy\n
• Work one weekend per month as part of a shared schedule rotation\n\nRequired Qualifications : \n
• Current, unrestricted RN license in any U.S. state\n
• Minimum of 1 year of Critical Care Nursing experience within the last 5 years.\n
• Current ACLS certification (AHA approved) - applicable to SICU, IMCU, CCU, ICU, Stepdown, or ER\n
• Current BLS certification (AHA approved)\n
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills\n\nWhy Spectrum?\n
