Senior Manager Of Patient Access
The Med Grp Senior Manager of Patient Access oversees all patient access activities for the assigned region, including pre-registration, check-in / check-out, demographic and insurance data collection / verification, point of service collections, cash management, referrals, authorizations, and registration work queues. The leader will formulate and administer system-level policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Essential Functions
- Collaborates with Regional Medical Group leadership, clinical directors, and physicians to identify and address barriers to patient flow and the patient experience.
- Supports the resolution of issues impacting assigned departments
- Reviews monthly trending analysis of registration performance across assigned region focusing on quality and productivity.
- Identifies, communicates, and aligns overall strategy for revenue cycle improvement across the region.
- Manages human resource functions such as interviewing, selection, orientation, education / training, feedback, performance evaluation, and policy and procedure development.
- Collaborates with Senior Director and other Regions Directors to develop and implement standardized workflows and initiatives
- Develops reports to track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, ensuring that goals are met and identifying areas for improvement.
- Partners with other teams in the Revenue Cycle Organization (RCO) to ensure cohesive and efficient operations

Required
Demonstrated revenue cycle / patient access leadership experience in a large, complex health system.Demonstrated proficiency in MS OfficeDemonstrates strong ability in data analysis.Demonstrated success leading a team of professionals.Preferred
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, finance, or related field from an accredited institution. Education will be verified.Certified Patient Access Management, Certified Healthcare Financial Professional, or Certified Medical Practice ExecutiveProficiency in EpicFive (5) years of manager level responsibility in a health care setting with experience in revenue cycle and / or patient access operations are requiredPhysical Requirements
